JOB SUMMARY As a member of the sales team, the Account Executive – Digital Solutions and Sales Engineer is responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, and identifying customer needs in order to sell appropriate business solutions. This position will collaborate with clients to improve workflows and streamline processes. Specific job duties will involve prospecting for new business leads and both selling and team selling the uncovered opportunities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Grows the account base in the assigned territory and manages existing accounts. Conducts discovery calls and qualifies prospects. Reports to Director of Solution Sales on progress toward sales targets. Engages prospects through cold calling, in-person meetings, and community networking. Builds and fosters meaningful customer relationships. Sources new clients and gives sales presentations. Identifies and learns appropriate software and hardware used by the organization. Attends conferences to promote EO Johnson Business Technologies. Utilizes CRM to plan meetings and maintain customer contact information. Meets or exceeds assigned quotas/goals. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree in sales, marketing, or business administration or equivalent. 2 years of sales experience or equivalent. At least 2 years experience in a pre-sales, technical support, or IT consulting role. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 2 years of business-to-business consultative sales experience. Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, and Security+. ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Successful experience communicating with IT executives and technical staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude. Effective time management and organizational skills. Desire for continuous learning. Exceptional customer service orientation. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Experience working in a team-oriented environment. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS This position requires driving regionally regularly with occasional overnights. Maintains a good driving record. Must have a valid driver’s license.
