Position Summary... What you'll do
Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs. Provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology. Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company’s products and services. Responsibilities
Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training associates on processes and procedures. Provide direction and guidance on member service approaches to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor and complete paperwork logs and required documentation. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety checks, forklift procedures, handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, stock and merchandize displays, price items, identify shrink and damages, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise. Monitor product quality, rotation, codes, dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensure cleanliness and proper zoning and stocking of all departments. Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders and ensure products are selected and staged according to policy and procedures. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners; monitor progress and identify improvement opportunities. Model and promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity; assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work, provide guidance, and model adaptability to change or new challenges. Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications
Leading a team, supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others. Primary Location
