Overview
Primary Care and Specialty Sales Consultant - Cardiorenal (Pensacola, FL) Purpose: Primary Care and Specialty Sales Consultant (SC) is accountable for implementing the sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product. You will drive launch activities for an anticipated launch for menopause. Responsibilities include driving demand, clinical education and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for Primary Care Physicians, primarily in the Community settings. The position reports to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and will be an integral part of the Area Customer Squad, collaborating closely with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners to drive US Pharma outcomes. Travel will be up to 50% within the territory. The span of coverage includes Pensacola, FL and Southwest AL including Mobile up to Thomasville. The position is residence based and the candidate must live in or near the territory. Your Tasks and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role are to: Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers. Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products; work with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs. Leverage expertise in diabetes and menopause marketplace, applicable competitors, industry and cross-functional activities/plans to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges. Provide input to sales leadership, regional account managers, and other commercial colleagues for strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region. Develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans; communicate insights to internal stakeholders. Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential. Understand assigned customers’ product and business needs and work to meet those needs while adhering to Bayer ethics and compliance standards. Anticipate barriers to achieving goals and propose responsible solutions for success. Handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations with the value they bring to physicians. May train others in the region as needed. Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and continuously improve proficiency. Understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and apply high ethical standards in day-to-day work. Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree; Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or relevant experience; Proven ability to develop long-standing relationships with customers; Outstanding written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance with policies and laws; Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., vaccinations, trainings) as required; Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications
An advanced degree is a plus; 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales; In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states; Product launch experience; Strong analytical and computer capabilities; Virtual sales experience; Strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of the local market. Salary: Employees can expect a salary between $113,841 - $170,762. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission where relevant.
