Room Services Associate — Culinary & Nutrition
The Room Services Associate will:
Responsibilities
Assemble patient meal tray.
Ensure that assigned work station is set up and supplies replenished as needed.
Read tray ticket accurately and place correct food items onto patient tray.
Initial tray ticket when checking tray.
Process trays per minute according to the standard procedures.
Follow the delivery and retrieval procedures.
Deliver and retrieve patient meal trays exhibiting positive and accommodating attitude in all circumstances.
Respond to patients needs with a sense of urgency.
Greet patients in a friendly manner using the departmental greeting when delivering and retrieving patient meal trays.
Deliver nourishments and snacks according to procedures within established time frame.
Deliver meal trays and nourishments using the two patient identifiers.
Refer patient requests and opportunities for improvement to the supervisor or dietitian as appropriate.
Check for trays in patient rooms and pantries to ensure all soiled trays are picked up.
Handle food and equipment in accordance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Serve and assemble all patient meals in accordance with safety and sanitation standards and departmental policy.
Clean and sanitize work station.
Break down trays, scrape, sort and stack dishes according to established policies and procedures.
Identify unsafe working conditions and takes appropriate action.
Complete daily work assignments according to work schedule including sanitation duties.
Maintain a neat and clean work area.
Properly store all food items according to department policy.
Restock assigned station.
Check the dates and rotate stock using FIFO.
Requirements
Experience in food service desirable
Salary Range: 17.00 - 22.95 USD

In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
