Location Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary The Assistant Director of CTSE assists with oversight of student transformational and experiential learning opportunities. The AD will support the Executive Director of the Transformational Student Experience Programs. The overarching goal of the AD is to develop relationships across campus and in the community to support experiential learning and transformational student experiences with the following responsibilities: coordinate the undergraduate research program courses and the annual symposiums; promote globalization inclusion in faculty research and general education courses; support study abroad and study away opportunities with the Office of International Education; coordinate other global learning programs, including international internships and fellowships-Fulbright; assist in developing materials and reports, including presentations; assist with writing extramural funding proposals to enhance sustainability; develop and maintain collaborative relationships between all programs that support undergraduate research; international education and honors program. The overarching goal of the AD is to develop relationships across campus and in community to support experiential learning and transformational student experiences.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the daily undergraduate research operations, including overseeing undergraduate research proposal applications, orientation, communications with students and faculty researchers/mentors on all approval in SmartSheet.

Oversee and manage undergraduate research data in SmartSheet.

Coordinate with Honors Program on the activities of student-mentors and bi-weekly approvals for pay.

Promote globalization of faculty teaching/research and general education courses including support of faculty curriculum internationalization, international internship, fellowships (ex: Fulbright) and support abroad/study away with the Office of International Education.

Assist in developing materials and reports, including presentations.

Assist with writing external funding proposals to enhance sustainability.

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships between all programs that support undergraduate research, international education, and honors program.

Assist in any other related activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

5 years' experience in the field.

Experience in the research process and mentoring undergraduate researchers.

Experience in Global Learning: International Internships, Fellowships, Study Abroad/Away.

Experience working faculty as well as internationalizing courses (curriculum development).

Proposed Salary Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
