Our Outpatient programs focus on trauma-informed care with individual and group therapy, case management, treatment planning, and connection to social support services. Responsibilities

Deliver and coordinate services for youth clients referred by the Santa Clara County Department of Behavioral Health Services (BHSD) Substance Use Treatment Services Division. Act as a liaison to clients, help identify community resources, and organize pro-social recreational activities and monthly family nights. Support clients as they enter the program, throughout treatment, and link to peer support in our continuing care program. Help clients build connections to a recovery community and other supportive community resources. Foster relationships that enable clients to form responsible, pro-social friendships and connect to continuum care. Education and Skills

High school diploma or GED. Lived experience similar to that of the targeted population. Valid California driver's license. Skills Required

Ability to engage and motivate criminal justice–involved populations. Ability to enter data into paper and electronic systems while maintaining data integrity. Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team and independently when needed. Initiative and enthusiasm; willingness to pitch in as needed. Effective communication with all levels of the organization and partner organizations. Adaptability to changing project scope while maintaining direction and priorities. Flexible schedule, including at least one late day (until 8pm). Willingness to work toward State Peer Mentor certification. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Employment Details
