We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Before/After School Assistants and Teachers who are passionate about working with school-age children (K-6th grades) in a classroom setting and can speak
Mandarin . You will work at a Dual Immersion school, assisting children with homework, providing memorable experiences, and guiding children.
Role The key responsibilities of the Mandarin Teacher position include:
Planning, implementing, and overseeing curriculum-aligned activities, including homework assistance, social-emotional learning, arts and crafts, STEM/STEAM, and physical education.
Fostering youth success through mentorship, guidance, and encouragement, actively promoting program engagement and participation.
Communicating effectively with participants, staff, parents, school personnel, and community partners.
Recording and maintaining daily attendance and other required documentation.
Preferred availability includes opening shifts from 6:30am to 8:00am, part-time shifts from 1:30pm to 6:00pm, and full-time positions.
Qualifications
Must be over 18 years old.
Ability to speak/read/write in Traditional Mandarin.
Entry-level assistant positions available.
Experience working with children aged 5-12 in daycare, after-school programs, or camps is preferred.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits or related field studies (such as Sociology, Psychology) are preferred for Teacher roles; no credits needed for assistants.
