VHC Health . Purpose & Scope Maintains quality control for the Radiology Department and supervises technical and support staff. This position requires initiative and independent judgment. The Day, Evening, and Weekend Technical Managers and Student Clinical Coordinator report to the Senior Technical Manager. Certain functions of the Assistant Director may be delegated. Responsible for clinical training of student radiographers from Montgomery College and Northern Virginia Community College, including both 1st and 2nd-year students. Performs various technical procedures requiring ingenuity in applying ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Education Associate’s degree in radiography or graduation from an accredited radiography certificate program is required. Experience One year of supervisory experience is preferred. Certification/Licensure Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BLS certification are required. Additional Details
