BayCare Medical Group, the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Advanced Heart Failure Program based at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This role supports an established Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) program integrated within a system-connected heart failure infrastructure. The leadership has expanded its commitment to include comprehensive support for all modalities of advanced heart failure care. Responsibilities
Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings in collaboration with Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists and a multidisciplinary care team. Support development of a subspecialty focus within advanced heart failure care. Position Highlights
Balanced combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Opportunity to develop a niche within AHF group cardiomyopathies, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation Collaboration with cardiovascular diseases specialties, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery Competitive compensation package, including a Performance Improvement Measurement (PIM)-based bonus Benefits

Minimum 2 years of experience in a CVICU or CCU setting Demonstrated experience in managing Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) patients and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) patients Acute Care Certification or NCCPA Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida Preferred Candidate Attributes
Strong clinical acumen in cardiovascular critical care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Passion for advanced heart failure care and commitment to high-quality patient outcomes About BayCare
