Nexeo Plastics facilities are ISO 9001 certified and we adhere to a defined quality policy. Basic Purpose The Inside Sales Account Manager will manage a sales territory of existing customers. The role is responsible for building a long-term, value-based relationship with accounts and developing a territory plan that provides growth aligned with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will establish strong relationships via phone and identify and close additional business opportunities. This position reports to the Manager Inside Sales. Position Responsibilities

Meet and exceed territorial sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis by developing and expanding the existing customer base. Establish strong relationships with current customers through inbound calls, outbound calls, and written channels. Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction. Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer. Introduce new material to customers and provide education on the use of applications. Calculate quotes and negotiate price, delivery, and terms of sale. Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels. Manage an assigned geographic territory with regard to growth in the bottom line. Other duties as assigned. Responsible for business development with material processors, OEMs, specifiers, and design firms. Ability to travel and attend industry-relevant trade shows to develop relationships. Requirements

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)

Bachelor’s degree (Technical Science; Chemistry preferred but not required). Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience. Previous plastics sales experience a plus. Demonstrated solution-based selling and quota achievement in a complex, fast-moving sales environment preferred. Relationship selling/consultative sales experience preferred. Able to establish strong working relationships and persuade/influence others. Able to adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and business needs within a short timeframe. Demonstrated success in sales and well-developed business acumen. Excellent computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint as well as CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com. Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience a plus. Travel required, as needed. Nexeo Plastics is an equal opportunity employer.
