Overview
Engineering Project Manager / Control Account Manager (CAM) role at Lockheed Martin. This position is in the F-35 Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Design Team within the F-35 Test and Evaluation Business Unit. The team serves as the focal point and subject matter experts for all FTI designs, providing the central point for system design and development, system build, lab and onboard checkouts, and final deliveries to test operations teams. Post-delivery, provides operations support, process documentation, procedural updates and configuration management of the F-35 test fleet. The CAM and Project Manager will lead and oversee a wide variety of projects, acting as the CAM for all team activities and solving complex technical and programmatic issues with innovative and cost-effective solutions. You will manage cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the lifecycle of the FTI program. You will monitor execution of all tasks, identify and resolve performance issues, and ensure completion of contract requirements across multiple simultaneous projects. Self-initiated assignments are common; you will be expected to take a proactive approach to achieving program objectives. Excellent customer support, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. You will also lead the development of cost estimates and related documentation including basis of estimates, statements of work, GR&A, and Technical Statements of Work in response to requests for proposals, cost estimates, and ROMs for future tasks.
