Retail Markdown Associate (7am - 1pm) at The TJX Companies, Inc. TJ Maxx. Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customers according to operating procedures Promotes credit and loyalty programs Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established procedures and standards Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed Maintains cleanliness and organizational standards for the sales floor and store as a whole Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
Possesses excellent customer service skills Flexible schedule to support business needs Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation Works effectively with peers and supervisors Retail customer experience is preferred Benefits and Compensation
Starting pay range: $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Benefits may include associate discount, EAP, health and other insurance options, 401(k) with potential match, paid holidays/vacation/sick leave, and additional programs as eligible by plan terms.
