Overview Regional Sales Manager - Agriculture West

Purpose and Mission

Responsible for driving sales activities from prospecting to closing deals to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels.

Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed sales proposals and quotations.

Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to close sales deals.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.

Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.

Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and production, to ensure seamless customer service.

Skills

Experience with market research and competitive analysis.

Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and trends.

Proficiency in using data analysis tools to drive sales performance.

Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Previous Experience

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a sales or related role

Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
