As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, help them find products and services, interact with customers throughout the day, assist with product selection, and ensure customer needs are met. Daily responsibilities may vary by department. Customer Service Associates work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise. Replenish stock by identifying empty areas on shelves and restocking as needed. Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time receipt of merchandise. Cross-functionally train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service. Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds). Guide customers through shopping or checkout. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information. 6 months experience using common retail technology (e.g., smartphones and tablets). Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required for the job. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation. Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience. Bi-lingual skills. Trade-related certification in hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, or lumber/building materials. This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally travel to meetings, training, or support neighboring stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include inside and outside environments with exposure to varying climates and noises.
