Overview
Hamilton Local School District is seeking an Intervention Specialist, in our Student Learning Classroom (SLC) Unit at Hamilton Elementary. The contract is for 185 days, 7.5 hours per day, to start immediately for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is Certified/ Elementary School.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Provide an educational program for students as defined in the student8s) Individual Education Plan (I.E.P).
Develop and implement an Individualized Educational Program of each child, complimentary to his/her educational strengths and needs as defined through the multifactorial evaluation and I.E.P. process, and Regular Education Curriculum.
Complete necessary reports and record keeping as required by state and local policies and procedures.
Work cooperatively with regular classroom teachers, interpreting the abilities and disabilities of these students, assisting in classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricular as necessary, and assisting the student with regular class assignments.
Minimum Qualifications A valid K-12 or P-3 Intervention Specialist Mild/Mod or Mod/Intense Teaching Certificate through the Ohio Department of Education.
Salary Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule.
