The Regional Sales Manager leads aggressive sales growth of sanitary sensors, instrumentation, and application-specific systems with Channel Partners in the southeast region of the U.S. This role manages accounts within the region and, ideally, should reside there. Region:
North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi (subject to periodic review). Essential Functions
Call on stakeholders such as engineers, channel partners, and supervisory personnel, providing instrument and process solutions and application advice on our products. Call on System Integrators and Distributors who service the end-user customer base, conducting informational training sessions on our products and their applications. Establish effective relationships with customers to gain trust and confidence in applying our products. Review specifications and application requirements and work with Marketing/Product Management/Customer Service to prepare quotations. Grow the territory by increasing penetration of existing accounts and developing new accounts. Maintain CRM and develop a sales opportunities pipeline sufficient to achieve annual top-line growth targets. Annually submit and implement a detailed action plan identifying sales objectives, opportunities, key customers, and regional trade shows to attend. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with direct (OEMs, A&Es) and indirect (distributors, reps, systems integrators) channel management, with revenue exceeding $5M. Proficient in CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel). Sanitary process instrument or comparable industry experience preferred. Proven ability to drive sales growth using data-driven continuous improvement tools (sales funnel, CRM utilization, value selling, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical customers. Willing to travel domestically up to 60%. Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities and read/interpret technical documents and product specifications. Ability to identify key decision makers within customer organizations and recognize customer needs beyond the obvious. This position is eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package. The salary range for this sales position (including sales incentives/commissions in local currency) is $131,600 – $244,400.
