This is a field sales role based out of a personal home office; you must live locally to the Knoxville, TN territory or be willing to relocate to the area. Overview
As a Territory Sales Account Executive, you will be part of a team transforming how restaurants operate. You will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area using a consultative approach. You will develop customized solutions that help restaurants thrive and help build the Toast brand in your geographic territory. Responsibilities
Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close Conduct demos and develop solutions that meet the prospect’s needs Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market Requirements
1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a relatable field/industry Reliable transportation (field position; mileage reimbursed) Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment Self-motivated, creative, and flexible General technical proficiency with software Nice-to-Have
Experience with Salesforce CRM Sandler Sales Training About AI at Toast

The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is $129,000—$206,000 USD, including base salary, commission, benefits, and equity (if eligible). The starting salary will be based on skills, experience, and geographic location. This role qualifies for uncapped commissions.
