Shamrock Foods Company
Relieves and provides sales support to managers by handling daily administrative and business details. Responsible for leading a team of Sales Support Assistants that support sales personnel in providing best in class support for their customers.
Essential Duties
Organize manager’s schedule and maintains appointments and to do lists for managers
Coordinate and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares facilities
Conduct research and develops proposals and contracts using various computer applications
Coach and motivate a team of Sales Support Assistants to engage with our customers and associates positively, professionally and solution based
Liaise with the sales leadership team to ensure sales-support needs are being met
Compile and create information and enter data for processing of reports and presentations relative to specific organizational needs
Capture the essential information of a meeting – key points of discussions, decisions and assigned actions
Coordinate travel as needed, hotels, flights, rental cars and prepares itineraries
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Experience working with sales and customer relationship management software e.g., Salesforce.com preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to include evenings, weekends, holidays, early or late days based on executive management activities
