Work Arrangement This position supports our terminal operations in Palmer, Alaska.
What You'll Do You will join the ranks of our professional drivers who daily meet the unique challenges of selling and safely distributing fuels throughout the great state of Alaska.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and receive petroleum products to and from company tanks, customer tanks, and airplanes as required.
Perform customer service activities, including fuel attendant duties; assist with gasoline pump meter readings, sales slips and credit card charges.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and requisition parts and repairs.
Perform or assist with weekly inspections of facilities.
Assist maintenance crews with maintenance and upgrade.
Track and reorder inventory.
Complete paperwork and update information into computer tracking systems.
Understand and implement company, state and federal regulations.
Act as a first responder to any spill incidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.
Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker, Hazardous Materials and Air Brake endorsements.
Must meet the current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Must possess a current Medical Certificate.
Must be willing to work some overtime.
Experience
Minimum of two years of experience operating vehicles that require a CDL.
Experience with propane, natural gas, pipefitting, plumbing, crane, or boom truck is a plus.
Technical Skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
