Overview
MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager – MR in the Eastern North Carolina area to support our fast-growing Voice division.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee MCA’s MR program in Eastern North Carolina.
Recruit, hire, train, develop, set goals, and discipline sales and service employees.
Set direction, establish goals, train, motivate, and conduct meetings to ensure team success and alignment.
Conduct one‑on‑one coaching sessions and “ride‑longs” with all sales representatives.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and internal departments.
Engage with Regional Vice Presidents by providing timely communication, accurate forecasting (early, mid‑month, final reporting), and overall strategic direction of the team.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales plans.
Qualifications
8+ years of successful sales experience, with 3 years of sales management experience.
Experience in sales or sales management in the Two‑Way Radio/Land Mobile Radio field is highly preferred.
Previous law enforcement/public safety experience is a plus.
High integrity and service‑minded focus on team members and customers.
High energy – strong work ethic and action‑oriented.
Embraces a structured sales approach.
Experience in developing, coaching, and motivating sales professionals.
Ability to embrace and lead change and provide innovative solutions.
Marketing experience, and product/industry knowledge, a plus.
