Part-Time Schedule: Evenings (Tuesday-Saturday), including weekends and mandatory holidays Position Summary: We are seeking a Server Assistant to support our serving staff and help ensure a seamless dining experience at Marquis. This role includes setting up and breaking down the dining area, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining a polished and professional atmosphere. Candidates who show strong performance and initiative may also be considered for expediting responsibilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking to grow your skills in fine dining service, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare dining areas prior to guest seating · Set tables with linen, silverware, glassware, and napkins with precision and care · Serve water, bread, and assist with beverage refills · Clear courses and reset tables promptly and professionally · Assist servers with running food, coffee service, and mise tasks as needed · Maintain a clean and organized dining space throughout service · Uphold all health and safety standards in kitchen and dining areas · Perform additional duties as assigned · Potential to train and assist on the expediter line based on performance and aptitude Requirements: · Previous experience as a busser, food runner, or similar entry-level restaurant/club role preferred · Dependable, trustworthy, and professional demeanor · Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices · Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods · Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a high-paced setting · Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude · Ability to lift up to 25 lbs · ServSafe and RAMP certifications are a plus (voucher code for RAMP available upon onboarding) · Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation:
Hourly wage: $7.25 per hour · Additional earnings through a percentage share of the service charge pool, based on hours worked Mandatory Work Days Include
(but are not limited to): · Spring Ball (Saturday within the first two weeks of April), Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day Celebration (Friday before July 4th), Thanksgiving Day & Member Guest Weekend
