We are seeking a talented Investment Operations Associate to join the firm in our Seattle or San Francisco office. As an Investment Operations Associate, you will work primarily with the portfolio management team as well as financial advisors. You will have the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of wealth management including investment/portfolio management, financial planning, and tax management. The skills obtained in this role will be applicable to a wide range of future roles in the wealth management industry.
Your Responsibilities:
Supporting the portfolio management team through managing investment operations Performance calculation and reporting Communicating with advisors/portfolio managers about client cash flows, new accounts, client trades, etc. Analysis of investment strategies Conducting investment research Providing sample investment allocation and proposal materials Adjusting cost basis as necessary Portfolio Rebalancing and Trading Qualifications:
0 – 2 years work experience in finance and investments Bachelors in Finance, Economics or Statistics or related subject required; Progress towards CFA, CFP, or CIPM a plus Ability to do independent research and strong attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience with Tamarac is a plus Friendly, strong desire to learn and ability to take direction Ability to work in a team environment Compensation: #J-18808-Ljbffr
