Vaco is partnering with a rapidly growing, employee-focused company in West Phoenix to find an experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This is a fully onsite role offering up to $95,000 per year, depending on experience. We're looking for a strong leader with 5+ years of accounts payable leadership experience. In this role, you'll oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain and strengthen vendor relationships, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Review and authorize invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Match and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation. Manage the scheduling and processing of vendor payments, including electronic funds transfers, checks, and ACH transactions. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure prompt payments while maintaining optimal cash reserves. Lead and support the accounts payable team through training, performance management, and professional development initiatives. Assign tasks and manage team workloads to ensure timely and efficient invoice and payment processing. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support effective communication and collaboration. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner. Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records. Compile and deliver accounts payable reports and insights to management for financial planning and review. Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an accounts payable or similar role. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent leadership and team management skills. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
