As a
Senior Financial Analyst
in a robust Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and analysis for the organization. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset. You will work closely with various departments to provide insightful financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and ensure alignment with the company's financial objectives. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead the development and management of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and performance monitoring. Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner with key stakeholders across departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Marketing, and HR) to gather financial data, understand business needs, and provide actionable insights. Reporting and Presentations:
Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and financial performance. Variance Analysis:
Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify gaps between actual and forecasted financial results, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions. Strategic Support:
Support strategic initiatives by conducting financial analysis, scenario planning, and ROI analysis to guide investment decisions and improve overall business performance. Continuous Improvement:
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis. Team Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative team environment, working closely with finance colleagues and contributing to the development and mentorship of junior analysts. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an FP&A role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software. Preferred: SAP, S/4Hana, BOBJ, (UI) Utilities International. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
