Corporate Accountant
to join our CPA Pre-approved Program. Please note, we may not be actively recruiting for this position. The job posting reflects one of several streams in Allied's CPA Pre-approved Program. In the role of Corporate Accountant, you will support the corporate finance function by managing the full accounting cycle of a corporate entity, preparing bank and account reconciliations and internal and external reporting schedules, among others. Manage the full accounting cycle for a corporate entity, including preparing account reconciliations, journals, and supporting working papers. Review and analyze the corporate entity’s income statement and balance sheet to provide variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Assist in the preparation of quarter-end and year-end schedules for the financial statements and the management discussion and analysis. Prepare schedules for internal and external reporting. Perform treasury functions such as bank reconciliations, wire transfers and draw-downs. Support the budget process for corporate entities. Other duties as assigned. What are we looking for?
Active pursuit of the CPA designation. University degree or equivalent. Strong interest in the field of commercial real estate, accounting & finance. An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently or under supervision. A collaborative worker and effective team player. Good judgment and decision-making skills. Resilience, passion and a commitment to deliver and be accountable for the results. Analytical and critical thinker. Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Who are we?
