About the Role We are seeking a
high-performing Accounts Receivable Specialist
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least
2 years of experience
in collections and accounts receivable, with a proven ability to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow. Proficiency in
NetSuite
is required, and experience with
Visual ERP
is a plus. This role is critical to maintaining financial health and ensuring timely customer payments through effective communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the accounts receivable portfolio and drive timely collections
Contact customers to resolve outstanding invoices and payment issues professionally and efficiently
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications
Generate and analyze aging reports using NetSuite to identify trends and prioritize outreach
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues impacting collections
Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off in accordance with company policy
Support month-end close processes related to AR and collections
Contribute to the development and refinement of collection strategies and workflows
Provide regular updates to management on collection status, risk exposure, and performance metrics
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, with demonstrated success in improving collection rates and reducing DSO
Proficiency in
NetSuite
is required
Experience with
Visual ERP
is a plus
College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
