In today’s competitive deal market, Private Equity sponsors focus on value creation, acquisition integration, and preparation for exit events. CrossCountry’s Private Equity practice guides CFOs in building scalable finance functions, supporting inorganic growth strategies, and navigating complex carve-out or sale processes. We are experienced operators, acting as an extension of leading Private Equity sponsors to implement operational changes and realize value upon exit. What You'll Do:

Work on projects categorized into Strategic Finance, Transaction, and Accounting Projects. Examples include: Strategic Finance Projects: Develop KPI dashboards for reporting Maintain rolling 13-week cash models Prepare budgets and forecasts Create reporting packages for banks Manage finance initiatives using PMO tools Assist in board presentation preparations Serve in Interim FP&A roles focusing on processes Transaction Projects: Buy-side: financial due diligence, post-close improvements, M&A support, and balance sheet preparations Sell-side: exit assessments, financial reporting, deal support, carve-out financials, and TSA support Accounting Projects: Advise on complex accounting policies (e.g., ASC standards) Serve as Interim Controller focusing on processes What You'll Bring:

6+ years in client-facing roles at public accounting or consulting firms, with experience in Transaction Advisory, Restructuring, M&A, or FP&A Or 6+ years in corporate FP&A managing teams and working with M&A Or 6+ years in portfolio support at a Private Equity firm Experience mentoring junior team members and resolving complex issues Qualifications: Bachelor’s in accounting or finance CPA or CA preferred Experience with Private Equity or highly acquisitive companies Willingness to travel up to 40%
