As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you’ll develop and grow your own practice with support from your branch team, a home-office team, and other regional financial advisors. You’ll help clients work toward long-term financial goals, including retirement, wealth building, estate strategies, education funding, and more. You’ll be part of a network that includes offices across the U.S. and Canada and serves millions of clients. Financial advisors are valued partners who contribute to the firm’s purpose. You will lead the branch team to serve clients and understand each client’s goals to build trust and help them stay on track. Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements). Understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies. Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high-quality client experience aligned with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness. Create a highly engaging branch environment rooted in mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability. Qualifications and licensing Prior to licensing, Edward Jones provides a comprehensive training program and paid study period. The following qualifications and licensing requirements apply: A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work-related experience in securities/financial services. Financial services and/or sales experience. Financial services registration, licensing, or certification. Professional and/or military career progression. Licensing: SIE (obtainable without firm sponsorship); Series 7 and Series 66 are required. If not currently registered, registrations may be obtained during the paid study period at Edward Jones. FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses will be required. As an associate, you must complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and SEC) and required continuing education to keep licenses in good standing. Benefits include medical and prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, disability income continuation, basic life and basic AD&D coverage. Coverage is provided at no cost to financial advisors where applicable. A 401(k) plan and tax-advantaged accounts (HSA and FSA) are available. Flexible schedules, paid sick leave, and paid time off may apply where permitted by law. Advisors may be eligible for bonuses, profit sharing, and Travel Award Program participation. Compensation: Edward Jones uses a trainee pay and a supplementary salary for up to five years as you build your practice, plus commissions and compensation for new assets gathered. Supplemental starting salary ranges are provided in this posting. Supplemental Starting Salary Range: $45,000 - $100,000.
