Capital One Commercial Core Operations (CCO) is seeking an experienced candidate to support the growing Commercial Lending Operations Shared Services Team. This position supports agent syndicated and bilateral loans within Corporate Banking, so solid product knowledge is required. The role includes analytical components related to various loan accruals, manual calculations with ongoing reconciliation and remediation. Strong communication skills and product knowledge are critical, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to facilitate ongoing change management. We are looking for an Asset Based Lending Operations professional to join a team of collateral analysts supporting the day-to-day operations of a diverse mix of commercial lending customers and loan types. The team’s core responsibility is analyzing and monitoring client collateral to ensure the validity of assigned collateral in accordance with their loan agreement. The team provides support throughout the life cycle of ABL lending, including feedback to support credit agreement negotiations, day-to-day collateral monitoring and ineligible calculations, through to payoff validations. Responsibilities

Analyze and monitor client collateral to ensure compliance with loan agreements and accurate ineligible calculations. Prepare collateral reconciliations and balance deposit accounts daily. Work with clients and Underwriters to resolve discrepancies. Review and analyze client accounts receivable performance and identify ineligible collateral following prescribed guidelines, and reconcile collateral balances. Prepare summaries of client accounts receivable. Review and analyze client inventory consignments and prepare reports on client inventory activity. Review reports and documentation submitted by clients daily. Prepare necessary documentation to process daily payment and advance requests. Input data on client accounts into the bank’s loan accounting system (ACBS) via ECC Schedule module for tracking and trending purposes. Leverage accounting systems to reconcile loan balances to the collateral monitoring database and process transactions to manage dominion accounts. Engage in ongoing process and control reviews for effectiveness, gaps, and ongoing enhancements and updates based on evolving business needs, product offerings, and industry trends. Prepare monthly/quarterly verification letters and follow up on exceptions or non-responses. Collaborate with underwriters to deliver specialized support for products, including lender finance requirements and field examinations. Interact with customers to discuss and resolve discrepancies in collateral reporting. Ensure collateral reporting and documentation are stored and maintained in alignment with retention policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned to support continuous improvement and strategic goals. Ability to work effectively in a work-from-home environment. Proactive and self-motivated approach; willingness to take ownership of tasks. Assist in training incoming ABS Collateral Analyst team members. Excel expertise: proficiency with advanced functions (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), pivot tables, and macros for analysis and reporting. Work from Home Technology Requirements

A secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions. A reliable private internet connection not supplied via cellular data or hotspot. A private, password-protected network with ownership or line of sight to every device on the network. Internet service provided by Cable or fiber ISP; hotspots and satellite services are prohibited. ISP speeds on VPN at least 5 Mbps (10+ Mbps preferred). Both hardwired and Wi‑Fi connections acceptable if speed and security requirements are met. Candidates must live within approximately 50 miles of hub locations (Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC) and be comfortable coming in person with at least 24 hours notice. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification. At least 1 year of experience in financial services or asset-based lending. At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs). Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience. 2+ years of experience in financial services or asset-based lending. 2+ years of experience with collateral monitoring software (ACBS, Solifi, ABLSoft). 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Note:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are location-specific. For this posting, the available ranges are: Charlotte, NC: $64,700 - $73,900 for ABS Collateral Analyst I Plano, TX: $64,700 - $73,900 for ABS Collateral Analyst I Candidates hired to work in other locations will be paid according to the applicable local pay range.
