Spirit Airlines . Responsibilities Execute accounting and analysis for designated accounts to provide timely and accurate financial data to management. Review the work of other team members to ensure accounting is accurate, complete, and well-documented. Prepare and compile quarterly and annual SEC filings and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Perform internal control testing over designated accounts to verify accuracy and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Assist in the annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors. Participate in SEC reporting processes, including 10Q and 10K filings, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations monthly, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance. Review reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountants for accuracy and documentation. Analyze account activity during close processes and provide explanations to management. Ensure all internal deadlines are met during the close process. Prepare external financial statements monthly. Ensure SOX compliance for monthly accounting, analysis, and closing activities. Communicate with external auditors during reviews and audits, providing necessary documentation. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Accounting. CPA License. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules, with ability to research and propose positions. Ability to complete tasks thoroughly and document processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
