Staff Accountant

We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Lakeland, Florida! This is a full-time, onsite role offering stability, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to own the full accounting cycle. Responsibilities: Review purchase and sale HUD statements Prepare monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations Manage lines of credit and request bank draws Create closed job reports for sold properties Enter deposits and maintain records in Sage Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile accounts Collaborate on annual budgets and reporting Work with CPA firm on tax and accounting matter Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) Experience with journal entries and general ledger Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Self-motivated with attention to detail Experience with Sage a plus Benefits include: Company IRA match up to 3% Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and sick time Potential for quarterly bonus Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
