Marsh . This role is based in a large Marsh office in the US and is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office each week.
Responsibilities
Be an integral member of a world leader’s best-in-class placement team that delivers expert broking and strategic solutions to help manage risk with confidence.
Build and maintain relationships with underwriters to manage the placement of insurance programs.
Take lead on complex placement/technical support activities on large accounts, including ensuring procedural compliance, reviewing data, updating annual renewal exhibits, maintaining accurate placement system entries, and ensuring contract execution as required.

We will count on you to:
Devise the go-to-market strategy, advocate for the value of the placement function, and participate in pricing of services as applicable.
Instruct the submission of coverage specifications and obtain quotes from carriers based upon the “assist, advise, and assume” transaction model.
Consult with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production.
Inspect the binding of coverage and ensure the accuracy of placement binders.
Drive and build relationships with practice groups, insurance markets, clients, carriers and underwriters to provide cohesive client service.
Consult management on complex client issues or trends and participate in the development of solutions.
Demonstrate solid knowledge of market risk issues, insurance brokerage, account management, servicing and sales skills.
Maintain a detailed understanding of changing insurance and risk management market conditions and inform client executives and advisors of major developments affecting products and coverage.
Formulate placement strategy using substantial risk expertise to meet difficult client needs.
What you need to have:
5+ years of industry experience in a matrix team environment.
Casualty experience required; Real Estate experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
P&C license, or ability to obtain.

Additional information The applicable base salary range for this role is $116,400 to $248,000. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. A comprehensive total rewards package includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K and other retirement programs, and employee assistance programs.
