Direct hire Industry-

Retail (lumber yard/construction materials) with 6 locations, privately held Hours-

8-5 with 1 hour lunch Location-

Onsite daily in Arlington, MA (Park Ave right at corner of Mass Ave) Must haves: -Hands-on accounting experience (AP, AR, billing, reconciliations, etc.) -Small company experience -MS Office (Excel) Nice to have: -MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) -Epicor (they use BisTrack) Job Description: The Accounting & Office Coordinator will oversee and execute critical financial processes, including daily and bank reconciliations, AP, AR, billing, and cash management. In addition, this role supports general office operations, ensuring organizational efficiency and accuracy in all financial and administrative tasks. Responsibilities: 1. Daily Financial Reconciliations

Perform morning reconciliation of BisTrack numbers to Great Plains numbers. Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate records. Prepare and document any necessary adjustments. 3. Cash Management

Generate daily cash drawer reports; reconcile and prepare deposits. Process EB cash deposits and liaise with bank as needed. 4. Accounts Payable

Receive, code, and process vendor invoices Coordinate check runs and electronic payments according to schedule Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve payment inquiries 5. Accounts Receivable & Billing

Generate and issue customer invoices and monthly statements Monitor receivables aging; follow up on overdue accounts Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts 6. Billing & Check Runs

Prepare and execute regular check runs for timely payment of obligations Verify check batching, approvals, and distribution 7. Daily Mail & General Office Support

Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and courier packages Manage filing systems (digital and physical) and organize documents Handle office supply orders and maintain office equipment Other duties as assigned Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, with hands-on reconciliation and billing. Proficiency with Excel; experience with Great Plains (Dynamics GP) or similar ERP systems a plus. Seniority level
