Revenue Specialist 1
Mid-City Electric is seeking a Revenue Specialist 1 to join our growing team! This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable functions for a portfolio of assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely invoicing. What You’ll Do:
Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process for assigned projects. Set up and monitor project costs to ensure accuracy and maximize performance. Generate and distribute invoices following contract terms (fixed price, time & material). Oversee compliance tasks such as payroll reporting and lien waiver administration. Partner with project managers and clients to resolve invoicing and collection issues. Serve as a backup for payroll processing when needed. Uphold Mid-City Electric’s core values:

A 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Spectrum ERP or other accounting software is preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail. Success in This Role Looks Like:
Invoices are generated accurately and sent on time. Outstanding balances are minimized through proactive follow-up. Strong collaboration with project managers, customers, and team members.
