Senior Accountant
that specializes in
Revenue Recognition

Compensation
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex revenue recognition calculations and analytics in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable allowances and net revenue reports
Serve as a key liaison between Revenue Cycle and Accounting departments to ensure precise net revenue reporting
Develop and maintain allowances for miscellaneous accounts receivable, including all revenue streams
Oversee GAAP-compliant revenue recognition for grants, contributions, and other income sources
Support annual financial audits, focusing on accounts receivable and revenue areas
Lead special projects related to process improvement, financial reporting, and new program implementations
Provide mentorship and training to junior team members
Conduct technical accounting research on industry-specific topics
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably 2+ in public accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
CPA certification highly desirable
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software systems
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
