What You’ll Do
Lead cost accounting activities across multiple small manufacturing businesses
Maintain and improve ERP-based cost systems, procedures, and reporting
Oversee inventory management including audits, cycle counts, and variance analysis
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to support pricing, quoting, and margin improvement
Prepare and present cost proposals, burden rates, and monthly financial reports to leadership
Act as a true business partner to the VP of Finance—offering tactical support and strategic insight
Ensure compliance with CAS, FAR, and DFARS for government contracts
Support government and financial audits across sites
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus)
7–10 years of cost accounting experience in aerospace or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing
Proven ability to operate in a hands-on role supporting multiple entities or facilities
Familiarity with FFP and Cost-Plus contracts and government cost compliance
Experience working in lean environments with small, agile teams
Strong understanding of inventory, cost control, and ERP systems
Preferred Skills
Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (e.g., NetSuite, Epicor, or similar)
Comfortable communicating financials to both shop floor and executive-level audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proactive mindset and ability to implement improvements independently
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Target salary range is $160,000 – $190,000 annually + discretionary bonus.
