Overview Manager of Investment Programs at Suncoast Credit Union. Location: Fort Myers, FL. Hybrid work model (in-office and remote).

Compensation: $110,000 - $189,000 (based on experience and credentials) with a variable compensation package. Position type: Full Time.

Responsibilities

Direct the development, productivity, supervision, and performance of the Investment Services business line.

Direct, coach, mentor, and provide leadership to a team of advisors to achieve optimal productivity and performance.

Ensure a superior member client experience by coaching to a consistent planning process and approach.

Achieve sales goals; collaborate with all lines of business partners; ensure compliance and operation procedures are followed.

Recruit advisors to maintain full staffing for budgeted productivity and performance goals.

Onboard new hires and develop the annual department budget, including revenues from non-deposit investments.

Develop marketing, production, and promotional strategies to enhance member penetration and improve department efficiencies.

Execute projects related to the program and set productivity expectations and goals.

Set goals for staff, hold them accountable for meeting goals and compliance; coach staff not meeting expectations.

Provide technical assistance, sales ideas, profiling, and training on technology systems and products.

Monitor all team members’ productivity and activity reports; educate staff on compliance regulations and procedures.

Participate in management team meetings with strategic ideas for program improvements and growth opportunities.

Collaborate with business partners to promote program capabilities and value proposition.

Foster a positive work environment, promote skills development, and maintain morale and trust within the team.

Involve team members in developing an annual production plan.

Interact with broker-dealer compliance to ensure recommendations and practices comply with securities rules and regulations.

Review program reports for accuracy and trends; document program policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Prepare and present updates at staff meetings on policy, guidelines, changes, compliance, and operations.

Ensure direct reports comply with laws, regulations, policies, governance, and guidelines from regulatory bodies and vendors.

Maintain knowledge of current trends affecting the area of expertise; attend educational events to increase professional knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or insurance (or a comparable combination of work experience and training).

10+ years of experience in the investment or insurance industry.

3+ years of direct supervisory or management experience.

FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 (or 66) required.

Florida 2-14 or 2-15 insurance required.

Financial industry advanced designation or certification preferred.

Experience with financial planning, sales processes, products, and coaching staff development.

Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry (securities, insurance, compliance, broker-dealer).

Strong knowledge of investment, insurance, and advice-driven solutions.

Strong organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent discretion.

Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems; willingness to work hours outside normal business hours.

Travel up to 50% required.
