Role Summary:

Lead critical teams that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across Mosaic’s global supply chain operations. Oversee inventory reconciliation and freight payment processes, aligning closely with corporate accounting, internal audit standards, and vendor care.

Responsibilities

Lead the Inventory Control team to ensure accurate monthly and quarterly reconciliations, focusing on root‑cause identification, timely resolution, and variance reduction.

Oversee the Freight Payment team, ensuring accuracy in processing, vendor remittance reporting, and alignment with Mosaic’s standards.

Partner cross‑functionally with Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, Warehousing & Distribution Services to strengthen governance and reduce high‑risk reconciliation issues.

Monitor, track, and report reconciliation item aging, ensuring SLA adherence and escalation processes are followed.

Drive continuous improvement by leveraging automation, system capabilities (SAP S/4 HANA, BlackLine) and standardized workflows to increase efficiency and transparency.

Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, and external audit requirements.

Develop, coach, and mentor team members to strengthen leadership bench and technical expertise.

Prepare and deliver functional and operational KPIs to leadership, distinguishing between internal management metrics and external business‑facing KPIs.

Serve as key escalation point for operational issues within Inventory Control and Freight Payment, driving timely resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, supply chain or related field.

7+ years in accounting, inventory control, supply chain finance or related field.

3+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.

Solid background in reconciliation processes, controls, SOX compliance and/or internal audit.

Experience in inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and root‑cause problem solving.

Solid understanding of freight payment processes, vendor relations, and remittance reporting.

Process‑oriented mindset with proven ability to design and implement KPIs, SOPs, and governance.

Advanced skills in Excel, Power Query, and/or Power BI for reporting and analytics.

Proven communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Advanced skills in Microsoft 365.

Advance English proficiency.

Bonus Points

Master’s degree or MBA in finance or supply chain.

CPA or equivalent.

Intermediate communication skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
