Overview

Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions) – This position is based in New Jersey with in-office requirements. You must be able to commute to Paramus, Parsippany, Warren, Freehold or Marlton. Responsibilities

Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community. Manage sales activity with base salary, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, with potential for renewal commissions and earnings growth. Support customers using a consultative approach to insurance solutions, including Auto, Home, and Life products from top national and regional carriers. Collaborate with sales leadership and teammates to drive lead generation and close opportunities. Participate in training and licensing programs as part of ongoing professional development. Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers. A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life. Required Skills

Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base Compensation and Benefits
