Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, NY location. Responsibilities
Assist clients with raising funds in the capital markets, and provide strategic advisory services for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. Act as a strategic advisor by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients. Manage the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development, and overall growth of the firm. Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital-raising process, including leading due diligence, drafting sessions, and preparing for an equity or debt offering. Collaborate with clients, senior team members, and outside professional advisors on M&A and special situation transactions. Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor and management presentations. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related finance occupation performing valuation analysis. Five (5) years of experience must include: conducting valuation analyses using techniques such as LBO, DCF, and merger consequences; evaluating operations, business plans, and financial/economic forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses related to M&A; building, running, and interpreting financial and valuation models; conducting sell-side and buy-side transactions using M&A processes including engagement letter drafting, client/counterparty interaction, marketing materials, financial models, due diligence, and transaction documents review; utilizing financial data platforms (FactSet, Bloomberg, MergerMarket, SNL/S&P Global Market Intelligence) for IB analyses; and analyzing and interpreting financial statements and credit rating analyses for insurance companies and statutory entities based on public rating agency methodologies (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch, AM Best). 40 hours per week.
