Corporate Controller
We are looking for a
Corporate Controller
to work for our Central Ohio client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
Own the financial close process and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate critical decision-making
Drive timely, accurate, and complete submission of all financial data including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly actual financials
Review, analyze, and efficiently update accounting policies and procedures in order to provide complete information in the most efficient and effective manner
Support FP&A organization for reporting, budgets, and forecasts activities
Ensure consistent implementation of corporate accounting principles and procedures in full compliance with US GAAP
Assist management with the creation of an overall strategic plan for the company
Support the implementation of new financial improvement initiatives
Manage the accounting teams to drive a culture of high performance, efficient performance, and team development
Instill excellence in financial operating procedures and compliance with applicable accounting policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
At least 12 years of accounting experience with a track record of progressive responsibility
Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Reporting
Ability to effectively synchronize accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
Proven effectiveness in managing others and team-building
