We are searching for a talented Revenue Cycle Specialist Front-End to join our team in Fall River, MA. Hours & Shift
Hours: Per Diem Shift: Flexible shifts and hours, 7:00am - 3:30pm; 3:00pm - 11:30pm; 11:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation Location
Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA Compensation
Pay range: USD $16.55 - USD $27.78 / Hr. Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Responsibilities
Handle patient registration, insurance verification, pre-registration, and point of service collections under the general supervision of the Team Leader. Ensure accurate patient data and educate patients on financial responsibilities. Provide financial counseling referrals and Medicare compliance (IM and MOON forms). Manage valuables and morgue coordination; provide on-site coverage at public arrival desks and in the Emergency Department. Perform customer service duties and ensure regulatory compliance; collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams. Qualifications
Equivalent to completion of four years of high school; Associate's Degree preferred. Medical Terminology Certificate preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills including medical-based programs; proficiency with Word, Excel, and other software preferred. More than three years of related health care experience including work with third-party payers preferred. CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) encouraged. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption with a signed exemption statement after hire. Benefits & Perks
