The primary focus of this role is to increase student enrollment in undergraduate and graduate programs at ground campuses. Success is measured by meeting or exceeding inquiry, conversion, and enrollment targets. The Admissions and Outreach Representative will contact prospective students to provide excellent customer service and facilitate enrollment. They will also market campus programs to community partners, conduct local market research, and manage outreach activities, including presentations and fairs, to meet recruitment goals. This role requires adherence to all applicable policies and ethical standards, with some travel within the designated region and flexible working hours to accommodate partner and campus needs. Key Job Responsibilities:
Explain educational programs, outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to prospective students, parents, and educators. Manage inquiries and contacts to meet weekly activity goals, utilizing approved policies and redirecting unqualified candidates. Generate referrals through direct inquiries and contacts. Conduct interviews, pursue qualified candidates, and assess suitability for enrollment. Forecast new student enrollment periodically for leadership. Follow up with applicants to ensure successful matriculation. Build relationships with community organizations to influence perceptions of South University. Recruit qualified applicants in accordance with regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with academic staff on outreach activities. Schedule visits with community partners and maintain a calendar of activities. Enhance awareness of South University’s offerings and market differentiators. Deliver multimedia presentations using current industry information and presentation tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required Experience in higher education or K-12 settings preferred Experience in admissions, sales, or partnership development Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license Vehicle for travel with insurance Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage multiple tasks Ability to work with diverse populations and persevere through obstacles Work Environment:
