Senior Accountant – Established Company — Orlando, FL (Hybrid). Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. This position is with a long-established organization that serves a broad client base across the United States. Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Perform monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Support preparation and audit of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA). Assist with external audits, site visits, and compliance reviews. Review grant budgets and reimbursement requests for accuracy and eligibility. Manage subrecipient and contractor agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and proper documentation. Design and deliver training on grants fiscal management and regulatory requirements. Perform internal compliance reviews of grant-funded programs. Support the organization’s grants management and regulatory compliance efforts as needed. The Value You Will Bring To The Team
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct grant-related financial activities in line with applicable regulations and grant agreements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to support funding efforts across the organization. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant-specific regulations. Support financial data validation, applying accounting principles and internal controls. Support audits and compliance reviews to ensure proper documentation and deliverables. Assist with subrecipient and contractor documentation and monitoring. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required). 2+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Experience with large, multi-entity organizations is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Benefits
