Accounts Receivable Specialist

Summary We are looking for an experienced, bilingual Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing AR processes, including deposits, payment applications, dealer reconciliations, handling return mail, data entry, and account validation. This role will also involve working with SalesConnect, NetSuite, and performing critical account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
Deposits and Payment Applications:
Process and apply customer payments accurately to appropriate accounts.
AR Customer Service:
Provide professional customer support via phone, email, and SalesConnect cases to resolve payment inquiries and issues.
Dealer Reconciliations:
Perform monthly account reconciliations for dealers, ensuring discrepancies are addressed and resolved.
In-House Check Deposits:
Manage the processing of in-house check deposits and ensure corresponding journal entries are accurately recorded.
Account Reconciliation:
Perform detailed account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues as necessary to maintain accurate financial records.
Return Mail Handling:
Manage and process return mail, ensuring data is updated and customer records are current.
Data Entry and Contracts:
Accurately enter contracts into the system, ensuring all required fields and terms are correctly captured.
Validate AR Data:
Ensure all Accounts Receivable data is accurate and up to date by regularly validating information in the system.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Excel Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including experience using lookup formulas, pivot tables, and basic arithmetic formulas.
SalesConnect Experience:
Previous experience working with Sales Connect to handle customer inquiries and cases is preferred.
NetSuite Experience:
Familiarity with the NetSuite ERP system is a plus for efficient financial and AR processes.
Bilingual:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken), able to handle communication with diverse clients and teams.

Strong ability to ensure accuracy in all financial records, including payments, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to proactively address and resolve discrepancies or issues within AR data and transactions.
Time Management:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in both English and Spanish, to interact with customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar financial role.
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
