About This Job The Treasury Analyst II will assist in overseeing daily treasury activities including cash management, processing treasury payments, monitoring foreign exchange balances, overseeing investment sweep programs, and executing borrowing on credit facilities. This position will primarily support the Treasury Operations Team in various daily tasks and will be instrumental in process improvement activities and projects when needed.
Responsibilities
Perform accounts reviews, transaction settlement, and processing; resolve transaction exceptions or rejects related to payable/receivable accounts following established policies and procedures.
Analyze information to determine the accuracy and completeness of transaction data and proactively identify and escalate risks to the firm.
Provide clear and accurate responses for inquiries; investigate and resolve client account issues and pursue opportunities to improve customer experience.
Execute daily cash management activities and treasury payments.
Oversee cash sweeping activities and perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of treasury activity.
Conduct regulatory reporting and 15C3 money movement activities.
Assist in managing bank relationships and identify process improvement opportunities and bank expense savings.
Participate and contribute to various treasury projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of corporate treasury or banking experience.
Experience in securities industry and familiarity with FINRA & SEC rules and regulations is a plus.
Strong analytical, decision-making, oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of department computer systems and application software.
Ability to work independently.
