Equity Portfolio Analyst

Compensation:
$95K-$100K + 20% annual bonus

Position Summary We’re hiring an Analyst to support our equity portfolio management team in Century City, CA. You will own portfolio reporting and data integrity across funds, joint ventures, and separate accounts, turning complex operating and market data into clear insights for internal stakeholders and investors. The role blends advanced Excel modeling, valuation/appraisal support, BI tooling, and crisp communication.
What you’ll do
Maintain portfolio reporting for equity funds/JVs/separate accounts; ensure accurate quantitative and qualitative data across systems and dashboards.
Drive quarterly valuation and external appraisal processes; support annual business plans across 200+ assets, including assumptions review and documentation.
Analyze portfolio construction, diversification, leverage, commitments, cash flows, and performance versus benchmarks; develop sensitivities and scenarios.
Prepare high-quality written reports and presentations for leadership and investors; support fundraising/IR with portfolio updates and materials.
Partner with Asset Management, Finance/Accounting, and Business Applications to improve workflows, data quality, and real-time portfolio visibility.
Contribute to ESG tracking and portfolio data integration initiatives; adopt new tools and evolving technology.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related.
Internship or 1–3 years in finance/investment/CRE analytics; institutional real estate exposure preferred.
Advanced Excel modeling (build/maintain complex models, automate recurring reporting).
Familiarity with data tools (SQL/Python/Power BI/Tableau) and with ARGUS/CRE valuation concepts.
Strong analytical writing and presentation skills; accuracy and structured thinking.
High initiative, adaptability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
Direct experience with quarterly valuations/appraisals and annual budgeting across multi-asset portfolios.
Prior work preparing investor updates, fundraising materials, or portfolio dashboards.
