Admissions Representative . This role reports to the Vice President of Enrollment and is responsible for participating in meaningful recruitment travel and events, as well as managing a pool of prospective students to convert them into applicants and enrolled students. Responsibilities: Plans, schedules, and participates in relevant recruitment events. Participates in long and short range travel, as required, and completes post travel/event reports. Gives large and small group presentations on behalf of the college, its academic programs, student services, athletic teams, clubs, and organizations. Develops and maintains close working relationships with counselors, advisors, faculty, and other opinion leaders and partners. Maintains timely communication and enrollment counseling to prospective students and applicants. Manages applicant files and ensures students complete necessary steps to start classes. Provides an informative and welcoming environment for prospective students and their families during campus visits and events. Documents and schedules communication and activities with prospective students in the college's CRM. Assists with placement exams and represents Thomas University in a positive manner. Works as a team player to meet university goals and mission statement. Plans and coordinates on-campus events for prospective students and families. Evaluates transcripts and test scores to determine admission. Analyzes and evaluates materials for recruiting with the Marketing team. Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with periods of frequent travel. Other duties as assigned. Skills And Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. Record of successful sales and sales management. Prior college admissions experience preferred. Familiarity with Sales Force or other Customer Relationship Management software preferred. Microsoft Office experience. Public speaking experience. Experience working with high school, adult military, and online markets highly preferred. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Experience with military preferred. Work Requirements: Must be able to travel occasionally overnight. Willing to work evenings and weekends.
