Job Description
Representative Duties/Assignments
Interview and review potential client's applications for eligibility of various housing programs.
Calculate household income based on the criteria established for each program.
Enter data and case notes in specialized programmatic software systems.
Interpret and communicate program guidelines to clients and the public.
Review credit reports, home inspections, bank statements and other documents.
Prepare correspondence and emails to communicate with clients, landlords, other Divisions, nonprofits and other housing partners.
Maintain case management files and appointment schedule.
Respond to client inquiries, and work with property owners, property managers, and realtors.
Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience in real estate, case management, interviewing, assessment or administrative experience in the area of social services or public assistance; or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferences
This position requires great organization and customer services skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience with income calculations and interpreting federal assistance programs regulations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Salary Information
Pay Grade: 014 - From $23.19 to $30.14
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
