Senior Accountant

Seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a blend of public accounting and industry experience. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed Maintain and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial systems Analyze variances in financial reports and provide detailed explanations Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed Assist with tax filings and compliance activities Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of accounting experience; mix of public accounting and private industry experience preferred CPA license preferred but not required Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Attributes: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is a plus Exposure to financial reporting, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives Seniority level
